Shipping

At Pileatedwoodpeckerfeeder.com (Birds Eye Innovations LLC) we understand the importance of shipping products quickly and cost effectively.  Our default shipping carrier is UPS, but we will also use USPS if the rate is cheaper.  In most cases, we will ship orders on the next business day using standard domestic shipping.  However, there are times when an order is not able to be shipped on the next business day, like when hot selling products temporarily sell out and need to be replenished, or when raw materials for making our products are not available from our suppliers.  In these cases when an order can’t be shipped on the following business day, we will fulfill the order as soon as we are able to (normally within 3-7 business days).  If we are unable to fulfill an order in 3-7 business days, we will contact you and provide you with an updated shipping date.

When a customer is finished shopping on our site and clicks the ‘checkout with PAYPAL’ icon, all shipping options and costs are handled and calculated thru PAYPAL based on the customers shipping selections, preferences, and location.  Customers must provide a ‘PAYPAL confirmed address’ and we do not ship to P.O. boxes.  Note – if a customer doesn’t have a PAYPAL account, he/she can easily set one up at this time (in just a few minutes), or he/she can pay immediately with a credit card, and then later may set up a PAYPAL account if they so choose.  Currently, we only ship our products to the 48 contiguous United States (no international shipping).  We do not accept PAYPAL payments from non-US accounts.  Therefore, international customers will not be able to complete any transactions from our site via PAYPAL.

 

Damaged product replacement

All of our natural real wood bird feeders and bird feeder poles are meticulously hand made in the USA from the finest USA materials and personally inspected for quality in our workshop.  Additionally, those products that require assembly (our woodpecker feeder tree and bird feeder poles), are thoroughly tested for use, fit, and functionality (assembled, tested, and then disassembled for shipment).  Because of our stringent product quality standards, we are confident that all of the product(s) we ship are of the highest quality and free of defects in material and workmanship.  However, there may be rare cases where a product is damaged during shipment.  In these rare cases, we will replace the damaged product (at no additional charge), but please adhere to the following conditions:

1.  The customer will contact us within 24 hours of receiving damaged product(s) providing a detailed description of what is wrong with the product(s) – in some cases we may require the customer to provide photos of the damaged product(s) for verification purposes.  After receipt of the damaged product inquiry, we will then send the customer a return authorization number.

2.  The customer returns the damaged product to us in the same packaging in new (unused) condition with the return authorization number within 30 days of purchase.  After receipt of the damaged product with the correct return authorization number we will ship a new replacement product to the customer within 7-10 business days.

Our refund policy

Upon receipt of our product(s), if a customer is unsatisfied with his/her purchase of our product(s), we will issue a refund when the following requirements are met:

1.  Contact us within 14 days of purchase date to obtain a return authorization number

2.  Return the product(s) to us in new (unused) condition in the same package within 30 days of purchase with the return authorization number

Product(s) returned to us in used condition or without a return authorization number will be sent back to the customer.  We recommend getting insured service for return shipments because we will not accept responsibility for return shipments which are damaged or lost.

When the customer fully meets our requirements for a refund (as described above) we will refund the full purchase price of the product(s) minus a 30% restocking fee, to the customers paypal account within 3 – 7 business days.  We are not able to refund the original shipping or return shipping cost.
